It seems like I left my room…

I can hear whispers about me…

As I stepped into unknown territory, the eerie hallways began to whisper things about me in a gentle tone. My eyes widened and I could perceive the wooden hallways clearly. They were bigger than I expected. Suddenly, out of place and almost inaudible noises made me uneasy, sending a cold shiver in my entire body. This wasn't even my house, how could I put my trust in a place like this? I had too many questions, but no valid answer to any of them. As I walked, I noticed that this was not the place full of wood, but rather the place I had come from. Snapped out of my daze, my survival instinct felt the danger. The atmosphere was heavy as lead, but my legs light as feather and ready to act if needed.

A dim but visible light emanating from the spotlight in front of me was the only thing I had as my main guide. The apparent rotten wood of the floor creaked with every step I took. Could someone be listening? Could I be in danger? I didn't know the answer. The doors were closed, but the ones with broken handles or those that were open only showed a poor empty room. I didn't dare go in case something was following me from behind, although, when I looked back I didn't notice anything out of order. Every time I opened or closed a door, its typical sound reflected a lack of oil in the hinges. Sometimes, my neck was covered in heavy breathing, something I could also hear.

The most that could be heard in each corner of the hallways and at their intersections were strange noises coming from inside the site. Did they sound like machinery? Or were they something much more disturbing than I think? I was unable to run, already feeling exhausted. My body felt weak with every step I took. I really need to sleep. Is there food somewhere in this maze? I am at the mercy of the entities that are here. Wandering, wandering for no reason through these woody lands. They will look for freedom or food. Sleep disrupts the mind, concentration and mood. Insomnia accompanies the hours of no return Is there natural or artificial life in this unknown place? I need answers.

During my long stay, I saw remnants of who I use to be. An old drawing I made during simpler times. An old participation medal for a contest I almost forgot about. Old trinkets of a person I am no more. I collapsed, tears falling down. Running away from the entity, the fears, the regrets, the anger, the nostalgia, the end, this spinning, these voices finally took its tool on me. I decided to rest a bit as I didn't want to know who would win the race and claim my sane head as a prize. The closest room would be my answer, receiving me with an uncomfortable bed that would serve me well. I feel watched, it seems I broke the main rule. Never go into an alley. I broke it and now what was rumored about me was true. It always stalked me. They live in these ridiculous rooms, which help to deceive. Lies and truths are hidden, none leads to the exit.

Does not exist.
